These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the TruTake mobile application (“the App”).
The App is operated by Melo Digital Ltd.
By downloading or using TruTake, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, you should not use the App.
2. Nature of the App
TruTake is a digital record-keeping tool designed to help sole traders and small businesses organise income and receipt information.
TruTake:
- Is not accounting software
- Does not provide tax advice
- Is not a substitute for a qualified accountant
You remain fully responsible for:
- The accuracy of the information you enter
- Any financial decisions made using exported reports
- Any submissions made to HMRC or other authorities
3. Free Trial and Subscription
TruTake offers:
- A 30-day free trial
- A £5.99 per month subscription (after the trial period)
After the free trial ends:
- Existing records may remain viewable
- Adding new entries and generating export packs requires an active subscription
Subscription access is managed through Google Play.
4. Billing and Payments
All payments are processed securely through Google Play Billing.
We:
- Do not store your card details
- Do not process payment information directly
Subscription management, cancellation, and refund policies are governed by Google Play’s terms.
You are responsible for managing your subscription through your Google account.
5. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Safeguarding your device
- Maintaining backups if desired
- Securing exported PDF files
- Verifying the accuracy of your records
Melo Digital Ltd is not responsible for:
- Data loss due to device damage or loss
- Errors in tax submissions
- Missed deadlines
- Accountant decisions
- Financial penalties
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Melo Digital Ltd shall not be liable for:
- Indirect losses
- Business interruption
- Loss of profits
- Tax penalties
- Accounting errors
The App is provided “as is” without warranties beyond those required by law.
7. Changes to the App
We may update, improve, modify, or remove features at any time.
Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the App if these Terms are breached.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
